LITCHFIELD — Hoping to make a greater impact on healthy lifestyles, with a focus on active children, the Litchfield Hills Food Systems has launched a new website with the addition of social media outlets.
According to President and Executive Director Bill Burgess, the web page transition, funded by a grant from the Community Foundation of Northwest Connecticut, is part of the organization’s goal to reach as many people as possible — with easier accessibility — and to link them to more information regarding healthy eating and exercise, along with locally-grown foods.
